As the director of all of Empire Eats’ private dining operations and Empire Properties special event spaces, Amy Amerson is responsible for making sure our guests' big events go off without a hitch. She is responsible for developing and managing Empire Eats’ private dining program and event venues and leading Empire’s team of event managers to provide personalized, memorable and exemplary experiences to our guests.
Amy joined Empire in 2009 as a server at The Pit. She quickly moved into a management role at The Pit and later moved to Sitti as a manager. In 2015, she became the private dining manager at Sitti, Gravy and The Raleigh Times. She became director of all private dining and event operations in 2019.
Amy has bachelor of art degrees in History and Dramatic Art from UNC-Chapel Hill. She also is a certified Wine Spirit Trust and a member of SAG-AFTRA. Amy is a 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry, with a career spanning more than 20 years in North Carolina and Los Angeles.
She is a graduate of Leadership Raleigh (Class 35) and is president of the board of directors for The Poe Center for Health Education, which aims to empower North Carolina children and families to make choices that increase positive health behaviors.
