Empire owns a collection of buildings and land on the 300 block of S Bloodworth Street. The site has a long history of residential, industrial, and commercial uses. The buildings that currently occupy the site generally date to the mid-twentieth century and have an industrial quality that lends itself to the atmosphere desired by today’s retail and office users. The site is connective tissue between downtown Raleigh and more residential development east of downtown and we believe that its development will be important to the continued success of downtown Raleigh.
